Delivery & Returns Information
Mainland UK Delivery
- We provide a free next working day tracked delivery service* on all mainland UK orders over £54.99. (Please note that next day delivery is not available on weekends or bank holidays.)
- For orders under 2kg and below £54.99, delivery costs £3.99. This service is tracked and aims for next working day delivery. (Excludes weekends and bank holidays.)
- For orders over 2kg and under £54.99, the delivery charge is £7.99. This is also a tracked, next working day service. (Next day delivery is not applicable on weekends or bank holidays.)
- We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) on the same day.
- All delivery dates are estimates and subject to stock availability.
- You can generally expect your items within 2–5 working days. If you haven’t received your order within 7 working days, please get in touch.
Additional Information
If your order is sent via DPD, they will attempt delivery once. If no one is available and no delivery instructions are provided, the parcel will be taken to a local pick-up point. Unclaimed parcels will be returned to us after 7 days. If this occurs, we can arrange redelivery to the same or a different address. The redelivery charge is £7.99.
All dispatch dates provided are estimates and not guaranteed. They are not contractual terms. While we do our best to meet these timelines, we are not liable for delays or any resulting losses. A delay in delivery does not entitle you to cancel your order.
Our order cut-off time is 2pm on working days. Orders placed after this will be processed the next working day, subject to stock availability.
Any delivery discrepancies must be reported to us in writing within three days of receipt.

- Delivery times may be longer and can vary depending on location.
Damage or Loss in Transit
All orders are insured during transit for loss or damage. Once the items are signed for, responsibility transfers to the recipient.
Any damage must be reported in writing within three days of receiving the goods.

All purchases from www.sloanepetfoods.com are protected under UK Distance Selling Regulations, allowing you to return items within 14 days of receiving them.
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in its original condition within 14 days for a full refund.
Change of Mind Returns
If you change your mind upon receiving your order:
- You can return the goods for a full refund, provided they are unused and unopened.
- Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- You must notify us first at info@sloaneandsons.com to request a return. We will confirm whether your return has been approved.

We will inspect the returned items within 24 hours of receipt and issue a refund to your original payment method.
Faulty Goods
If your order arrives faulty:
- Contact us at info@sloanepetfoods.com with images of the issue and your order number.
- We will assess your claim and, if valid, arrange collection via our courier at a convenient time.
- Returns must be authorised before sending items back.
- Upon inspection, if the product is confirmed as faulty, you’ll be offered a full refund or replacement (subject to stock availability).
- If no fault is found, we will return the goods to you at a cost of £4.95 (ex. VAT).
You may cancel your order or remaining items by contacting us before 11am on the day of dispatch.
In-Store Collection
We also offer a collection option at checkout. Once your order is placed, please wait for a confirmation email before collecting.
